Terms of Service

UXDuck gives you tools to build, test and operate vehicles. You are responsible for your vehicles and how you use those tools.

Who provides UXDuck

UXDuck is provided by [company name], company number [company number]. These terms apply when you use the UXDuck website, the app in the browser, the installed UXDuck and desktop app, accounts, the hosted model, and support.

What this release is for

Each release says what it may be used for. While a release is for simulations and ground testing only, do not use it to fly a real vehicle: UXDuck sends nothing that flies a vehicle, and a real vehicle connected to it gets a notice. Releases change often, and features may change or be removed.

Your vehicles

You are responsible for operating your vehicles safely and lawfully, including registration, airspace and other rules where you operate, and for checking what UXDuck shows and sends before relying on it. UXDuck is a tool to help you; it does not replace your own checks, a safety pilot or your vehicle's failsafes.

The agent and AI output

UXDuck's agent can be wrong. Check its suggestions before acting on them, especially for anything that moves a vehicle or changes its configuration. Actions that need approval ask you first; approving them is your decision. We may apply quotas, rate limits and abuse controls to the hosted model.

Accounts and security

Keep your account, sign-in codes and devices secure, use an email address you control, and tell us promptly at support@uxduck.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

Plugins and third parties

Plugins, simulators, firmware and other software you use with UXDuck are provided by their authors under their own terms. We are not responsible for them, or for third-party services outside our control.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use UXDuck to break the law, endanger people or property, or violate others' rights.
  • Do not abuse, overload, resell or interfere with UXDuck's services.
  • Do not try to bypass quotas, rate limits or security controls.
  • Do not submit malware, or secrets or personal data you are not allowed to share, in feedback or conversations.

Local data and backups

UXDuck keeps vehicle data, logs, settings and chats on your computer. You are responsible for backing them up and for deleting them from devices you no longer control.

Liability

UXDuck is provided with reasonable care, but no software is perfect. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for damage to vehicles or property, indirect losses, lost profit, lost data, business interruption, or reliance on unchecked output, including the agent's. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms as UXDuck changes. The date at the top says when they last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, except where consumer law gives you mandatory rights in your country of residence.
